Job Description

A growing organization in the Harford County area seeks a qualified Payroll Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage ADP payroll processes and personnel
  • Oversee bi-monthly, multi-state payroll (500+ employees)
  • Handle garnishments, deductions, and tax compliance
  • Prepare 401(k) & ROTH reports
  • Generate reporting (overtime, commissions, staffing)
  • Maintain SOPs and documentation
  • Train managers on payroll processes
  • Support audits
  • Partner with HR and Accounting

Requirements

  • 3+ years payroll experience (multi-state preferred)
  • Management experience
  • ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
  • Strong Excel & Outlook skills
  • Organized, reliable, and communicative
  • HR exposure is a plus
  • Does not need to be a high-level expert
